Angela’s journey with Logan’s Heart and Smiles started with a simple golf outing in 2010. Little did she know, that moment would mark the beginning of a beautiful, transformative adventure.

She’s been the driving force behind modernizing our operations, introducing online service applications, streamlining project record-keeping, and securing vital grant funding. In 2023, Angela joined us full time as our first paid staff to steer Logan’s Heart and Smiles towards a sustainable and successful future.

Joe is the heart and soul behind Logan’s Heart and Smiles.

Joe has always believed that the purpose of Logan’s life, and the challenges they faced together, was to serve and help others. In 2002, he founded Logan’s Heart and Smiles, leveraging his unique perspective and construction background to make life easier for children and families facing similar struggles. In 2024, Joe became paid staff as Logan’s continues to grow.

Joe is a true beacon of hope and kindness where love and compassion create lasting smiles.

Michael Gillhouse

Lead Carpenter

Michael loves making art, turning wood on a lathe, building furniture, and fixing things. In his free time, he enjoys reading and is working hard to improve his sign language skills.

Michael was drawn to this position because he wanted to do work that truly helps people. Working on these first builds has shown him how important this mission is and how much joy it brings to the families involved. He feels blessed to be part of the Logan’s Heart and Smiles family and hopes to keep making a difference for those who need it most.

Noah Betsinger

Ambassador

Noah is a master of good-natured banter and always keeps us smiling. When he’s not lending a hand here at Logan’s, he spends his summers working with the Madison Mallards baseball team.

Noah loves connecting with our incredible families, finding new recruits, ensuring everyone has a delicious lunch, and, of course, helping to secure those precious donations that power our mission.

Noah is the heartbeat of our community, and we’re forever grateful for his dedication and joyful spirit.
